Privacy Policy

The short version: SkyCake does not collect any data about you. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising and no server of its own. Sun and moon times are calculated on your iPhone.

Who we are

SkyCake is made by Xeviora. If you have a question about this policy, write to support@xeviora.com.

What the app uses, and where it goes

• Location. If you allow it, SkyCake reads your location to calculate times and directions for where you are. Your location stays on your device and is never sent to us. If you decline, the app still works: you can search for any place instead.
• Camera. The AR view shows the live camera image with the sun and moon paths drawn on top. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
• Notifications. If you turn on golden hour reminders, they are scheduled on your device. No push server is involved.
• Saved places and settings. These are stored on your device only. Deleting the app deletes them.

Apple services the app relies on

• Apple Maps. Map tiles, place search and turning a coordinate into a place name are provided by Apple MapKit. When you use them, your search text or the coordinates you are looking at are sent to Apple and handled under Apple's Privacy Policy. We never see these requests.
• Purchases. SkyCake Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your name, email address or payment details. The app only learns from Apple whether Pro is unlocked on your device.

What we do not do

• We do not collect, store or sell personal data.
• We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs in the app.
• We do not track you across apps or websites.
